Essential details
Q: In what context did the project take shape?
Q: What did the client truly want, beyond a pool
The project originated from the complete renovation of a traditional farmhouse, where no pool existed beforehand.

The pool was therefore designed entirely from scratch and conceived as an integral part of the new architectural and lifestyle concept of the home.
The clients are interior designers transforming the house into a showcase residence for their future clients. This implied exceptionally high expectations in terms of quality, aesthetic coherence, and long-term reliability.

The design philosophy was clear: absolute minimalism — ‘less is more’.

The pool had to reflect the same language as the house: clean lines, no unnecessary elements, premium materials, and a sense of calm and order.
So, the main constraint was time.

In addition, our schedule depended on the progress of the surrounding construction works, particularly the terrace around the pool. This required close coordination with the other professionals involved.
As the property is used as a holiday home for international guests, it was essential that the pool:

  • offered premium water quality,
  • required minimal maintenance,
  • operated reliably without the need for weekly on-site interventions.

What were the most important decisions?
Why was this solution the right fit for this project?
The key decisions concerned both aesthetics and technology.
From a visual perspective, every internal pool element was carefully studied:
The choice of a dark grey liner reinforced the contemporary, understated character of the project.

From a technical standpoint, major attention was given to system performance and sizing, filtration technology, and water treatment.
Every detail — from the technical system to the internal pool layout — was designed to meet two criteria simultaneously:

our standards for optimal system performance,
the client’s precise aesthetic vision

Nothing was left to chance. The pool is the result of a design process where technology and aesthetics work together seamlessly, without compromise.

What kind of experience does the pool offer today?
The pool conveys a sense of relaxation, continuity with the home’s architecture, and peace of mind.
The water is crystal-clear, gentle on the skin, and free from the typical chlorine smell, which combines natural salt, activated carbon filtration, and automatic water parameter regulation
The minimalist design enhances the experience: the pool does not dominate the space — it completes it.
Long-term value
[7]
What makes this project reliable over time?
  • Use of top-quality materials (V4A stainless steel, bronze components).
  • Proven, high-end technical systems.
  • Ease of management: all key parameters (lighting, pH, water values) can be monitored and adjusted remotely via an intuitive app with a clear interface
This ensures control, safety, and peace of mind — even from a distance.
How can this project be summoned up in one sentence?

And when everything feels simple, it means there is an even more thoughtful, precise, and meticulous level of planning behind it.
